For more information about film and television activity in Elstree

We strongly recommend a visit to the web site of  Elstree Studios  for comprehensive information about past and present productions. Their list of films is searchable.

Film and TV Historian Paul Burton has set up his own web site  “dedicated to all of the people who have worked at and/or supported the studios in its various forms and under    its various ownerships over the years and thus saved and kept the site open for   film and television production”

We recommend you visit Paul’s web site  It includes a great deal of background information ( plus photos ) on life at the studios.  Please note that Paul’s site         is in no way connected with the sites of Elstree Studios or of Hertsmere Council.  Paul is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information published on his site.

Our local newspaper has created a site which contains an extensive collection       of articles about our local film history.
